As Innovative IV’s customer base grew, Leslie expanded upon her expertise, seeking out educators with the same passion for quality. Meet the Innovative IV Team

Leslie Leon RN BSN CRNI® ACIG VA-BC™

Leslie is a recognized Nurse Leader in the field of Infusion Therapy. With decades of experience, she specializes in promoting excellence in all aspects of infusion care and providing quality service to her customers.

Leslie achieved her BSN in 1987 from the University of Rochester, her CRNI® in 1993 from INCC®, a Certificate in Gerontology in 2004 from Western CT State University, Ultrasound and X-Ray Certifications in 2008 from AVA, and her VA-BC™ in 2016 from VACC. Her credentials include pediatric, adult, and geriatric clinical and management positions at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Hartford Hospital, and alternate care settings. In 1995, she founded High Tech Nursing Services, a CT-based company providing IV insertion, education, and consultation services. High Tech still thrives today within another IV services company. Subsequently, she created Innovative IV, LLC to focus on promoting excellence along the continuum of care in Infusion Nursing, Pharmacy Services, and Infusion Product Development.

In 2004, Leslie Leon was awarded the Leslie Baranowski Award for Professional Excellence by the Gardner Foundation of INS. Also since 2006, she has presented on a variety of topics at National Seminars including AVA, INS, and NHIA. In addition, Leslie was a Regional Liaison for National INS and also volunteers for the CT Chapter INS during the last 20 years with positions to include President, Vendor Chair, and Membership Chair.

Lisa Liseo RN BSN CRNI® VA-BC™

Lisa is a recognized expert in Infusion Therapy Education and Consultation. Her entire career has focused on the elements of infusion therapy in clinical practice as well within leadership roles. Since graduating from WCSU with her BSN in 1993, she has been focused on the quality of Infusion Therapy both in acute care and the alternate site settings. In 2007 she achieved her CRNI® from INCC®, in 2016 she achieved her VA-BC™ from VACC, and she is an active member of the CT Chapter of INS. Her clinical areas of IV expertise include Hospital IV Team, Long Term Care, Home Care, Dialysis, and the Hospital clinical setting.

Lisa is celebrating her 11 year anniversary with Innovative IV, LLC! She has a passion for infusion education that began with home IV therapy, progressed to educating nurses in the clinical field, and now dedicates her creative talents to Innovative IV. In addition to her role as a Vascular Access Consultant and Account Manager, Lisa utilizes her expertise to create both on-site and virtual courses tailored to the customer’s needs. She also focuses on evaluating Infusion Therapy Policies and Procedures and Infusion Product Development as related to the National Industry Standards of Practice. Lisa has made a career commitment to educating nurses to a higher standard while fulfilling her passion for quality within the industry of infusion therapy.

Lee Toth RN CRNI® OCN®

Lee is recognized as an authority in infusion therapy with over 40 years of nursing experience, 26 of those years focused on infusion therapy. In 1991, she achieved her CRNI® from INCC® and in 2007 earned her OCN® from Oncology Nurses Society’s ONCC.

Currently, Lee serves as a Professional Educational Consultant for Innovative IV. Her previous experience includes 15 years as an IV Nurse Educator for Innovative IV, LLC and a Long Term Care Pharmacy servicing over 40 Facilities, 13 years as an Infusion Specialist on Hospital IV Teams, and several years as an Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse in a private oncology-hematology practice.

Lee is very active in the nursing community. She has held many positions in the CT INS including President, Membership Chair, Newsletter, and Ad Hoc. In 2004 she was honored as Infusion Nurses Society Chapter President of the Year. She has presented nationally for INS on topics such as IV Push Medication Administration and IV Therapy in the Alternate Care Setting.

Tiffany Tranghese RN-BS CHPN® CRNI®

Tiffany Tranghese, a multifaceted leader in infusion nursing, joined the Innovative IV team in early 2017. After graduating from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science focused in Nursing along with minor in Computer Information Technology, she pursued her passion for nursing in a vast array of settings including acute care, hospice care, and home infusion therapy. Furthermore in 2013, Tiffany achieved the CHPN® status (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) and then in 2015 achieved her CRNI®.

Along with her commitment for quality patient care and her excitement to share her diverse infusion nursing knowledge, she is a delightful addition to our team. With each encounter, she strives to make a difference by empowering Licensed Nurses to achieve the knowledgebase to provide superior care in infusion therapy.

Alicia Currier

Alicia is the Office Manager of Innovative IV, LLC. In 2013, Alicia joined Innovative IV and brought with her a strong background in customer relations, information technology, and business management.

As our Office Manager, she is responsible for the overall office operations and field management. Her role includes customer service, clinical coordination, web master, facilitator for our on-line courses, and overall problem solver. Alicia interfaces with our Vascular Access Educators, facilitates office efficiency and is readily available to answer customer questions.
